A lot of + Mucho/a, Muchos/as

Se usa para frases afirmativas,tanto para nombres singulares incontables,como para plurales.

 

There is a lot of rice	Hay mucho arroz
There are a lot of oranges	Hay muchas naranjas

Much -? =Mucho/a

Se usa para frases interrogativas y negativas. Significa mucho/a y acompaña a nombres en singular y nombres incontables.

Is there much rice	¿Hay mucho arroz?
I haven't got much cheese	No tengo mucho queso

Many -? =Muchos/sa

Are there many oranges?	¿Hay muchas naranjas?
We haven't got many apples	No tengo muchas manzana
